I've used Windows since 95 and it's evolution has been terrifying to watch. The only good thing to come of Microsoft being a harbinger of the surveillance economy is that Linux generally has become more popular and there are many more eyes on popular distros.

Ever since they started using AI to code windows updates it has been downhill. I really want to switch to linux but the adobe suite is a must have for me sadly.

I'm on the microslop hate wagon too. But I'm also bound to it, sadly, for the same reason as @Lester_Green, Adobe and Autodesk software is how I make my living.

It mixes valid criticisms of Windows (forced updates, DRM, telemetry, loss of user control) with speculation and conspiratorial claims presented as fact.
