check system info because by the looks of it your Windows is activated
BTW are you Dutch??

Yes I am. That's what I figured but

  • windows is nagging me about activating
  • the watermark is active
  • the activation window in settings shows 'Windows reported that no valid product key was found on your device. 0xC004F213'
  • slmgr /xpr returns 'windows is active after assessing it is not legitimate.' Or whatever it translates to.

You have No permissions-Was there another version or license connected to your microsoft account prior to installing Education?
-Do you log in with a Microsoft account or local account?

- No, there was never an account logged in, it was a linux machine before this.
- No, I never log in with a microsoft account on a fresh install, nor have I logged in thus far.

I've tried both a Home and Pro install in the past hour, and both also refuse to activate. Same 'no ticket' error.
Have you also tried clean option, reboot and then use the automatic procedure?

Do the mean the 'clean' in the HWIDGEN dropdown menu? If so, yes. What do you mean by automatic procedure though? Is that something else in the tool I've not seen?

Yeah I used both. First I tried the tool (that's why I said I had the same issue as nicolas), didn't work. Reinstalled and then tried the manual method which gave me the 0x803F7001 error as I've said in the first post.
If you want I'd like to check with Teamviewer. If you're up for it pm me your Teamviewer ID and password

You have No permissionsIf the SHA1 match it is ok, it's safe. It is normal that it is reported as a virus.
