My dad's going to buy me a legit copy of Windows 10 pro, so I'd like to switch back to Home to get a purchased copy of Pro. Being on a cracked version of Windows just doesn't feel right.

lol. you will be the next-to-only -one,and a `legit`copy will not work any better than a `cracked` one. and it wil not make m$ any less malicious.. and we are not on a `cracked`version, any of us; we just use a loophole of the registration process that m$ knows very well to exist, and they decided to not do anything about it, maybe because they want you to be a standardised user.

How would I downgrade from Windows 10 Pro to Windows 10 Home?

you can try using the license switcher

Also your Windows 10 Pro isn't a "cracked" Windows if activated with a digital license generated by using hwidgen because the license is genuine
