Gom player was good till it was free 5 years back. They messed up coding when they changed it as commercial app. I tested this portable now. Loading of app is too slow and opening a movie is also very slow. Neither UI is good to navigate. Pot player is kick-ass.

Guys , what about gom player's uninstaller.exe controversy ? with ESET and other Av products ?

Why they detect it as bad file ? My eset is always giving me warning about this.

Is it a flase positive ? if yes than why GOM is not taking any actions ? like reporting back to all AV's as a good file.

I installed Gom Player 2.3.58.5322 to find whats wrong with uninstall.exe. Just 3 virus engines detected it at virustotal.com as unwanted app. Other 100 engines did not detect any virus.

Any way this app has become crap for sure.

I like this app personally , for auto resume support , and auto subtitle load from internet. Easy navigation and controls , but this uninstaller.exe thing is always annoying.

Any other good choice ? as compared to GOM player plus ?
