Disable Windows Defender with "Defender Control v2.1"
#1
After many search on the web and a lot of trying and failing, the best way I have found is to use the free Apps "Defender Control" by "Sordum.org".

Defender Control app works fine from Windows Vista to Windows 10 but is not fully compatible with Windows 11 yet as the windows defender program in win11 sometimes silently re-enables realtime protection after being disabled by Defender Control

M$ programmers proved they are stupid dumb f*cks again. In updated version of windows they changed defender such that if it catches a file as virus there is no option to allow it now. You have to quarantine it first and then restore option is enabled. Then you have to restore the file back. Headache process with those idiots. After some days it catches same file in same place again even we allow it. Solution is that you have to exclude that file directory path in options.

perhaps this is one good reason why you should stick to running Win10 instead of upgrading to Win11, chillgates

edit 9/10: aww crap, the problem is also occurring recently for some Win10 users where Defender Control can't disable Windows Defender, maybe because of installing/updating to the newest Defender antimalware platform update (v4.18.2108.7)

fortunately I have not updated that to v4.18.2108.7 and still have the older v4.18.2107.4 antimalware client for Windows Defender from last month

Instead of covering bugs, m$ is more active on discouraging users to hack win10 with anti-bloat tools, anti-telemetry tools etc. They are changing the way of coding and registry from time to time so that those tools won't work. For this reason i am not using those tools now days. It is like m$ is stubborn to say that they will bloat and spy on user at any cost lol.
