Xiret is a simple but powerful tool designed by K4onashi to replace the Experience Index User Interface that was removed in Windows 8.1. It features a beautiful custom UI, no adverts or spam and is completely free forever. It's compatible with all versions of Windows that shipped with the Experience Index.

- Options to save scores as text or an image
- Imgur API for super simple and immediate upload for sharing
- Automatic power adapter detection
- Full DPI support
- In-Depth assessment mode
- Portability with easily managed settings
- Self monitoring for missing resources like fonts and patches
- Option to reset Winsat with one click
- Notification system with performance and update hints
- Ability to see the Windows 10 feature level
- 'Show Hardware' instantly shows you which hardware was rated

The system must be rated to use some features.

Requirements:

- Optional: Internet connection for updates and Imgur API

Notice:
I sincerely ask that third-party websites do not host beta and release candidate (RC) channel versions of my software. This is to stop confusion in the community and potential broken versions leaking into the wild; also, in non-release versions the updater is disabled, so unsuspecting users could be stuck with a broken version.

Having issues?:
Information regarding error 'Failed to properly assess the disk. The parameter is incorrect.':-

A fix for this was bundled with KB3125574 - Convenience rollup update for Windows 7 SP1 and Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1.

However, for those who want to skip the telemetry spyware, you can download the 'telemetry free' original patch KB2687862 from my server. Alternatively, Xiret will automatically notify you the hotfix is missing and install KB2687862 for you.

Information regarding the application not starting or opening:-
Some systems may be missing the required Segoe UI fonts, which are included below. Generally they are already installed, however Windows Vista did not include Segoe UI Semibold, AFAIA. They may be downloaded and installed if discovered missing. Xiret will also attempt to install all missing fonts automatically to save you hassle.
