1-If you want a permanent digital license you'll have to remove all KMS first. You can do this by using the KMS Cleaning Tool which is part of Ratiborus Tools: https://karanpc.com/ratiborus-kms-tools-2019/
2-this tool always works. Just make sure you haven't tweaked windows with any telemetry blocking tool before using it to get a digital license + make sure to disable real-time protection in AV before using it because Defender and lots of other AV flag it and block it (false-positive). Also make sure you have chipset drivers and graphics driver installed or digital license activation will fail.
Please point me to the post meant by you about "IRREVERSABLE" so I can check in which context it's used (nothing to be scared of anyway!). A digital license is tied to your hardware.
