hm. a must,a must.. i dunno about that..i have never paid for anything on my pc yet,
and i am too old for new habits. so long as you stay away from unpopular habits like
preaching the revolution, and stay out of the sights of the copyright warriors, i think
you will be okay..i am using the free version of proton vpn nowadays, as a ff extension.
the good news is that you can turn it off.
and i have my doubts if you can trust any commercial players on the www..
as for slow servers, one thing that i have noticed on this free vpn,is 
that if the location is in daytime, it gets slow... also if the location is in a low-tech 
country.[ proton offers only very few servers in the free version,
and you are not free to change them at will.]
