Waymo has achieved L4 automation, but only in specific conditions, and using a lot of sensors.
Tesla FSD use camera only to try to achieve more adaptive automation (albeit currently L2 only) using mainly vision-based AI
Now NVidia has joined the scene as well, with its Alpamayo model suite intended to power L4 autonomous systems for partners, typically with multi‑sensor hardware, not vision alone.
