What do you think of AI technology for Cars?

Mostly likely cars will be driven by AI, I mean, we already have self driving and parking...

aren't there cars using AI already?

Sony Honda Mobility is taking pre-orders on the Afeela 1. Check out the videos on Intelligent Drive, Multi-Modal Sensing, and Auto-Parking. The future is now

Yep. My car has a "God's Eye". It stopped short in front of a phantom object the other day! I couldn't see anything but God could apparently.

if all the cars have ai and are self driven it'll really make roads more safe and secure. will also help with traffic.

I know for sure Xioami already has some working ones in China. I've seen a recent video where it drives itself into a lake when it was using it's self parking mode
![]() I think they need to mature more before they are truly safe for the road with real people.

What do you think self-driving is? It's not exactly completed tech, because I havent seen any company except Tesla claim they have full self-driving abilities, and their cars kill people when they used it, so yes but there will be more to be seen.

machine run cars r kinda safer cause if u think about it, if every car can communicate their position and speed, then we might have faster and better traffic (it will kinda become like riding a train with the other drivers). But AI can make mistakes, and driving is a very low tolerance activity, plus u cant rule outbad pplhacking their cars and sending fake information about their vehicle for bad stuff. so i dont think its like an immediate thing atleast.

Waymo has achieved L4 automation, but only in specific conditions, and using a lot of sensors.
Tesla FSD use camera only to try to achieve more adaptive automation (albeit currently L2 only) using mainly vision-based AI Now NVidia has joined the scene as well, with its Alpamayo model suite intended to power L4 autonomous systems for partners, typically with multi‑sensor hardware, not vision alone. |
