I always sell with no HD and beat the old HD/SSD with a hammer in the driveway if it is being retired.

There is also good software to wipe it.... I tried to recover data after wiping but nothing was found....

To securely erase an SSD, use its built-in firmware command via BIOS/UEFI or manufacturer tools (like SSD Toolbox), as it's the most effective way to reset all cells in the SSD, unlike simple formatting which leaves data recoverable; alternative methods include using encryption (like BitLocker) and then erasing, or third-party software (like CCleaner).

No shit... F... The amount of Pc's I sold with Hdd's and SSd's.... and due to my past line of work I always kept encrypted version of client information... Now that I think about it... I kinda messed up. ( altough, I doubt the people I sold it to would even think of using forensic tools to get back the data
)

I've always sell my pc without the HD, or i buy a new one and install it. I don't want to give my data to stranger.

No need to sell them anyway. Storage devices hardly take up any physical space and can always be reused in the future. I always keep my drives and find a way to utilize them, maybe because a little bit of a data hoarder
