RE: [Windows 10] Digital License (HWID) & KMS38™ Generation - johnbl - 11-10-2019 I thought that was the reason there's a 38 in KMS38. Did you try Clean option before Rearm? But I didn't run it afterwards. I'll try Clean, but I thought that would remove Office activation. RE: [Windows 10] Digital License (HWID) & KMS38™ Generation - twizt3dkitty - 11-10-2019 is the manual method still supported? the file isnt on upload.ee anylonger. If you want the files for the manual process let me know RE: [Windows 10] Digital License (HWID) & KMS38™ Generation - johnbl - 11-11-2019 @Skunk1966 I used "clean" as you suggested and then I was able activate with KMS38. After that I had to reconvert my Office installation to VL and used KMS_VL_ALL to activate it. So I guess the instruction on OP about using "Rearm" is not actually working. If you have a previous KMS activation, you need to remove it completely before activating with KMS38. I'm asking this as for example Windows Loader is unable to activate Windows 7 Ultimate installed on a computer setup with UEFI/GP. So I'm just asking if there is such kind of restrictions with HWID & KMS38. Thanks! RE: [Windows 10] Digital License (HWID) & KMS38™ Generation - FTP - 11-14-2019 Sorry, I complete my question (but it's not convenient there's no Edit button)... Quick questions: 1/ Is there any restriction to use HWID & KMS38 weather: - the motherboard firmware is setup on BIOS or UEFI - and the boot drive is prepared with a MBR or GPT? I'm asking this as for example Windows Loader is unable to activate Windows 7 Ultimate installed on a computer setup with UEFI/GP. So I'm just asking if there is such kind of restrictions with HWID & KMS38. 2/ Is there now only 1 ISO by edition of Windows 10? No more Retail vs OEM vs Update vs VL ISOs? Thanks! Adding a digital license only or KMS38 activation depends on the version of Windows 10 and not on BIOS or partition type |
